Broad History • 1997 - Began working in a laundry room of a modest home in the Woodlands - Working ONLY with refugee families from Bosnia. • 1999 - Rented an office and an apartment in West Houston to house convalescing children - Beneficiaries increased by 400% • 2002 - Moved into our own facilities in West Houston • 2002 - Doubled size of our facilities • 2004 - Beneficiaries crossed the 1,000 mark • 2007 - Beneficiaries increased to over 3,000 • 2009 - Beneficiaries increased to over 7,000 • 2010 - Beneficiaries increased over 100% • 2011 - Beneficiaries increased over 25%; Additionally • The House of Charity Healing Home has provided over 1,700 surgeries worth $6.2 million free for indigent children and youth; • 35,000 pounds of clothing has been distributed to needy children throughout the U.S • 28 vehicles have been donated • Over 420 local families have been provided with groceries and daily necessities every year • Over 10,000 homeless children and their families have been provided with warm meals, clothing and hygiene packs • Over $62,000 worth of furniture has been donated to displaced families • Over 2,700 local children have been assisted with school supplies and Christmas gifts • Over 52,000 flood victims have been assisted with Medical, Surgical and Relief globally • Set up, equipped and is operating a permanent Free Medical Clinic and Dispensary which is providing Primary Healthcare, Medicines, Natal care and Deliveries to over 5,000 patients every month( Since March 2011) • Is in the process of setting up a permanent Reconstructive Surgical and Burn Center in South Asia.
